The Fillmore show ... Random thoughts
Sunday, October 29, 2006
We played the show at The Fillmore in Denver last night.  If you weren't there you missed a good time.  Lots of times when we play, its a bit of a struggle trying to fit our show onto the small stages in some venues.  It's really great to be able to perform on a stage big enough to do U2's material justice.  The crew at The Fillmore couldn't have been nicer and Super Diamond put on their usual awesome show.

Here's some random thoughts:

We played some new (for us) material and it went great.  Billy had his debut as "The Fly" and there was a professional belly dancer during Mysterious Ways.

We shot video of our set and soon you'll be able to see it here on our site.  Keep checking back.

In our dressing room there was a picture of Bob Seger onstage from back in 1977.  As he once said, last night i went to sleep "with the echos from the amplifiers ringing in my head".

Big thanks to our friends that gave us a hand moving and teching equipment last night.  Mike and Eric .... we owe you one.

Ron did an incredible job mixing sound as usual.

When it was all over, it was like a roller coaster that I wanted to ride again.
